For US terrain data, we rely on not one but two commercially licensed data sources: Navteq and TeleAtlas. Additionally, we have supplied extra water features extracted from high-resolution satellite imagery!
A highly configurable utility for managing the various layers of UT scenery is of course included. All of these features for a such a huge world area, at a very affordable price, are available right now from Flight1 Software!
Note: This product contains coverage of the 48 lower-states in the USA, plus Hawaii. We are working on a brand new product for Alaska, which will be available in the summer of 2008.
